About the job

Danone Nutricia NZ is looking for a Production Process Assistant to join our team in our Dairy Factory in Balclutha. You will be part of our Production team to support the processing of raw milk into infant formula, and play a key role in delivering high-quality products, for the first time right to our consumers day after day. You will assist in achieving our business goals through your ability to be alert, follow our procedures, and be a great team player.

 

This vacancy is a permanent full-time job, working a rotating shift roster 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off. Please note these are physical roles that involve heavy lifting, standing in long periods and climbing stairs on a daily basis.

About you

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience operating factory machinery, preferably in the food industry – familiarity with spray-drying processes is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and a strong Health & Safety / Quality focus
  • An understanding of hygiene requirements in a food manufacturing plant (ideal if you have worked in a High Care environment)
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work shifts and be a team player
