Danone Infant Nutrition Macroom is a division of the Danone Group with the overall Group employing 100,000 talents in over 60 countries worldwide. Macroom Supply Point is a strategic spray drying factory within the division, being a major supplier of infant formula to other plants within the network. 

Responsibilities and KPI's

· Understand the processes and technologies used in Macroom to transform raw materials into IMF basepowders.

· Gain knowledge on the Systems used in Macroom to control different aspects of the recipe-SAP, MES etc

· Being capable of setting up new recipes in all systems to comply with product specification.

· Ensure that Macroom complies with all requests as specified by Project leader with regard to external analysis and sending samples following trials.

· Problem solving and process optimisation through knowledge and standards. This will also extend to training other team members on Problem solving methodologies.

· Understand causes and drive improvements regarding rework and write off levels.

· Work with multiple departments in Ireland and Globally such as Operations, Supply Chain, Operations Performance and Central Research & Innovation

· Hands on approach to getting things done and being flexible in availability when the need arises.

Professional Experience

· Third level qualification in Food Science/Food Technology or related discipline.

· At least 2 years experience in a Manufacturing environment.

· Highly developed managerial skills with strong problem solving and decisive, analytical competencies

· Proficient in the use of MS Office tools, especially in excel calculations

· Strong logical and clear-thinking individual who can resolve issues on their feet with a decisive personality

· Team player who fosters goodwill and respect in the immediate and greater team environment

· Capable of taking the lead in change and seeking out improvements

· Strong support for high quality and hygiene standards

· Fluency in English
