In this internship, you will be part of the Procurement team, within our Oils & Fats category. Our purpose is to accelerate value delivery through strong analytical support and effective supplier management. During this internship, you will collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, R&I, Sustainability, and support the team in managing supplier relationships while driving efficiency and insightful decision-making.
 
Your main responsibilities include:
  • Supporting sourcing and category management activities for Oils & Fats.
  • Assisting with supplier performance tracking, monthly price contract follow-up, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for commercial reviews and internal stakeholders.
  • Collecting and validating data for cost models, tenders, and scenario analyses.
  • Collaborating on cross-functional initiatives with Supply Chain, Quality, R&I, and Sustainability.
  • Leading and maintaining the Commodities team KPI and category dashboards.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects that enhance efficiency and governance.

About you

As a Procurement Intern, working with data will be second nature to you. You can analyze complex information, build clear insights, and have strong organizational skills. On top of that? You’re a proactive, analytical, and collaborative person who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop. You are proficient in Excel and currently studying Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
 
Key requirements:
  • Enrolled as a Master's or Bachelor's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in April/May for a minimum of 5-6 months5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2-3 days per week.
