We want to inform you, that this is a full time & permanent position with start as soon as possible. You will be based in our factory location in Brande, and are expected to work on site at least 4 days/week. 

About the job: 

In this role, you will be working as part of the EU waters engineering team with functional reporting to the site director to enable the fast paced growth of the site, contribute to the execution of the Site Masterplan with a focus on safety, quality, performance. You will be responsible for multiple projects within the plant, overseeing technical execution, timeline management, and financial oversight for each project. In the role as our Project Engineer you will be the bridge between Danone European engineering team, and local plant stakeholders.  

Main job Responsibilities:

Project Leadership
• Step into the role of Project Manager, applying Danone’s Engineering PM methodology to ensure structured and efficient project execution

Strategic Alignment
• Collaborate with the Plant Director to prioritize projects and align budgets and timelines

CAPEX Management
• First point of contact for CAPEX requirements and site investment activities, managing big projects, contributing to complex scope projects (Processing, Packaging, Building, Utility). Work with Plant Director to align on project priorities and budget for each project

Financial Oversight
• Partner with the CAPEX Controller to manage capital forecasts, track execution, and ensure financial discipline

Cross-functional Coordination

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across departments to achieve project goals

Tender Documentation
• Create, design, and evaluate initial call-for-tender documents, ensuring clarity and compliance with technical and commercial standards

Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with Danone colleagues to ensure technical alignment, CAPEX planning, and bid evaluations

Knowledge Structuring
• Build and maintain the engineering knowledge base required on site

Travel is required occasionally for training or plant projects 

We're looking for a motivated and skilled engineer to join our team! To be successful in this position we believe that you bring:  

• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience; ideally within beverage & food or other manufacturing industries
• Experience and working knowledge in:
   Integrated automation and controls technology
   High speed packaging systems design
   Dairy or Plant based process engineering and PMO (if applicable)
   Manufacturing plant utility systems (if applicable)
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
• Strong project management skills from relevant industry
• Industry experience (especially in bottling) is a plus, but not required
• Fluency in English & Danish

• Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once in a structured way 

• Technically interested and eager to learn

• A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable working collaboratively across teams & strong stakeholder management skills 

• Innovative and curious about finding the best long-term solutions 
• Ability to work flexible hours, at times weekends or late shifts during installation/startup periods
