Are you passionate about quality and food safety? At the Aqua d’Or factory (part of Danone Waters), we are looking for a QFS Plant Laboratory Manager to lead our laboratory operations and ensure reliable, compliant, and high-performing analytical activities at the plant level.

About the Role
As QFS Plant Laboratory Manager, you will lead all laboratory and quality activities, ensuring the production of safe products in line with Danone standards and legal requirements. You will manage a team of five laboratory technicians, oversee daily testing, manage control plans, and optimize laboratory workflows to deliver reliable and timely results.

You will play a key role in driving a strong quality culture by ensuring robust non-conformity management and continuous improvement. Leading and developing a team of five, you will build capabilities, ensure proper training and qualifications, and foster an environment of accountability and continuous learning.

Reporting to the QFS Plant Leader and working closely with Operations, you will play a key role in engaging and aligning internal and external stakeholders, driving laboratory excellence, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory, food safety, and certification requirements.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or a related field
• 5–10 years’ experience in laboratory operations (food, pharma, or similar)
• 5-7 years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, quality systems, and analytical methods
• Experience with continuous improvement, audits, and digital systems (LIMS, SAP)
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills
