Job Title: Quality Operator

Contract: 12 Months FTC

Working Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, working 6:00am - 2:00pm on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Location: Kettering

Salary:  Competitive/ Benefits include pension, private healthcare, income protection etc

 

We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Operator to join our team.

 

This role plays an important role in assisting the Company to achieve high standards of quality and food safety. At Alpro we are passionate in our commitment to sustainability with the belief in building a healthier future through plant-based food. The role is part of a small, committed team and reports into the Laboratory Team Leader. Key responsibilities for this role are essential to supporting the lab team and QA department in ensuring the safety and quality of our products for our customers.

Critical experience required:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or factory setting, ideally within the food or quality sector, is essential.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate punctuality, dedication, and exceptional communication skills in English.
  • A practical mindset and the ability to think independently are highly valued in this role.
  • Physical fitness is required to perform tasks involving regular lifting of weights up to 8KG and handling heavy loads through pushing and pulling.
  • Demonstrate a professional 'can-do' attitude consistently.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion.
  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing strong multitasking skills.
  • Forklift experience is advantageous, although on-site training can be provided.
  • Operational knowledge of HACCP/FSHCP standards
  • Methodical approach to work, proactive and able to work independently
  • Organised approach to work and able to prioritise tasks
  • Confident SAP knowledge
  • Audit Experience desirable
  • Confident to deal with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is essential
  • Understanding of Document control management systems
  • Strong SAP knowledge
