About the job

The Senior Analytics/Business Insights Product Owner is responsible for creating and delivering the product vision for IT for Users & HR Applications and Automation which will focus on promoting advanced Human Resources, Corporate Communications, and Contract and Document Management products. The Senior Analytics/Business Insights Product Owner will, in partnership with the global organization, regional teams and senior local business personnel, define and implement the product vision for a comprehensive solution set that will meet the needs of our entities in NORAM and LATAM. This organization is designed to work on an agile framework and therefore will deliver value using product methodologies, with squads that will also be composed of Product Analyst(s), Chapter roles (or technical specialists) and a Scrum Master.

 

This position is hybrid and based in White Plains, NY. 

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Development Team
  • Responsible for acting as Senior Product Owner for larger, more complex projects with high value to the organization
  • Responsible for senior leadership stakeholder management
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, category GMs, Sales teams, and clients to extract business insights from Sales Order data, while driving a cultural shift that positions data as a strategic asset.
  • Act as the key decision-maker regarding product features
  • Responsible for the vision of what is to be built, and conveying that vision to the team
  • Assists with the elaboration of epics, themes and features into user stories that are small enough, or granular enough, to be achieved in a single sprint
  • Responsible for conveying the vision and goals at the start of every sprint
  • Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Represent the customer, interfacing and engaging with the customer
  • Participate in Sprint Planning meetings, Reveals and other Agile Ceremonies
  • Act as the voice of the team, communicating status externally
  • Be a good role model of Scrum values; understand the framework and the roles of each team member
  • Be a champion for the agile community and help to further the community within the organization

 

The base compensation range for this position is $160,000-$185,000 commensurate with experience. About you

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in information technology, Business Management or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise in business and advanced analytics, possess a high level of intensity in AI and enterprise analytics, and preferably have a background/hands-on experience delivering Insights to an organization.
  • 12+ years’ experience in IT organizations, ideally working in a global-local model
  • 8+ years of experience leading a technical team while simultaneously managing multiple projects
  • 5+ years of experience with the Agile methodology
  • Experience in RPA platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate and UiPath
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately to ensure a team’s success
  • Experience working with enterprise class software solutions supporting HR, Finance, Legal functions and users at large
  • Strong accountability planning/organization, and teamwork
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience managing projects using Agile software tools such as Mingle, VSTS, JIRA, Team Services, Rally, ADO etc.
