Danone Türkiye is looking for a talented colleague for the "Senior Distributor Operations Trade Development Manager" position.
Senior Distributor Operations Trade Development Manager is responsible for driving channel growth in collaboration with our distributors. In addition to developing category vision and category plans, leading and optimizing demand planning is a key part of the role. He/She also supports the SN sales team across both retailers and distributors.

In this role you will;
Understand the factors driving category performance with distributors.
Define category, consumer, and retail insights to co-develop support for the sales team and guide the regional manager team in their executional plans.
Connect data insights with customer strategies and align SN plans accordingly.
Drive business performance with customers by providing actionable category, shopper, and consumer-focused insights.
Lead the demand planning process, manage distributor P&Ls, and oversee the sales budget.
Collaborate closely with Demand, PRGM, Trade Marketing, and RTM teams.
Contribute to company growth by fostering collaboration across sales teams.
Develop distributor, customer, and channel-based plans aligned with net sales and growth targets.
Identify strategic opportunities by prioritizing categories, tiers, and regions in line with company and sales strategies.
Ensure alignment in business development projects related to key business goals such as portfolio management.
Evaluate departmental capabilities and identify growth opportunities.
Share business results regularly with the leadership and sales teams.
Provide strategic guidance, monitor performance, and manage challenging processes both internally and externally.
Create and implement strategic account plans that support business unit objectives and drive net sales and growth.
Develop and execute comprehensive, tailored sales strategies for key customers through short-, mid-, and long-term partnership plans.
Manage and expand relationships with major customers.
Identify and explore new potential customers to be included in Danone’s customer portfolio.
Develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key distributor customers.
Lead key account contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
Manage each tier’s budget regularly, aiming for maximum return on every initiative.
Influence relevant customers, internal functions, and customer teams to maximize sales results.
Take ownership of the demand cycle.
University degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in sales channels within FMCG.
Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Preferably knowledgeable in Nielsen tools and analysis.
Demonstrated leadership both as a team leader and in functional roles (e.g., driving large external category projects and/or formulating an end-to-end category vision).
Fluency in English.
Willingness and ability to travel.
