The Danone Food Safety Audit Team recruits a Senior Food Safety Auditor, this position is based in Gif-Sur-Yvette (91).

MISSIONS

Reporting to the Danone QFS Manufacturing Auditors’ Director, The Senior Food Safety Auditor is responsible for co-building a robust Food Safety audit system and leading FS audits with a continuous risk-based approach and a high level of independency and expertise. Based on these key principles, he/she is responsible for identifying and reporting the FS risks of the entities audited, providing a real opportunity to make a step change in Food Safety Culture, secure our Business and protect our consumers.

Your main activities will be to: 

• Prepare and conduct from 10 to 15 audits per year according to the annual Audit plan, through a structured risk-based approach and in a fair and impartial way, (mainly in Danone factories; occasionally at co-manufacturers)
• Deliver audit reports and score in a timely manner, outlining all the strengths, non-conformities and observations raised during the audits,
• Review and evaluate the action plan submitted by the factories after the audits (for Critical and Major non-conformities),
• Can prepare and animate Q&As sessions on specific topics (audit process, what is expected/scored by the auditors on some items, …) for auditees,
• Coach and qualify new auditors by providing advice, knowledge, and constructive feedback from audits,
• Be a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in the team on specific product categories and technologies, or FS topics (e.g., traceability, allergens, HACCP…),
• Be a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in the team for a geographical Region and the associated local team (performance report, audit planning preparation and validation, specific topics…),
• Actively participate to auditor’s networks and cross-calibration sessions. Can participate to auditors’ training while animating specific modules,
• Drive projects according to the roadmap of the department,
• Contribute to our FS Audit system continuous improvement for additional impact and efficiency.

• QFS@DANONE: All team members (DFSA Director, QFS SPOC & SRM directors, FS Management system & Regulatory affairs director, FS auditors and DFSA team members, …)
• Global/local: QFS Directors and managers, QFS plant managers, plant directors, QFS auditors.

External

• Industry peers, international organizations, external auditors, FS experts 

• Professional with > 6 years of experience in FS/QFS function
• Strong factory experience in a QFS or production Role is mandatory
• High knowledge of FS Standards – knowledge in 2 or 3 Danone product categories technologies (Waters/beverages, Dairy/Plant Based or Specialized Nutrition)
• Risk Based approach oriented
• Well organized, with auditing, synthesis and writing skills
• Ready to travel a lot – fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
• Pragmatic, open-minded, dynamic, capacity for global vision
