Senior Manager of Factory Activities and VSU acts as the primary point of contact between the factory in Bieruń and other Danone departments outside the production site and coordinates and initiates factory-related activities resulting from: implementation of new recipes, process changes, market needs.

Tasks:

• Manage high-impact business projects to ensure optimal performance, cost efficiency, and product quality at launch.
• Optimize project-related costs
• Identify and implement improvements in production processes through in-depth analysis of existing operations in local units.
• Evaluate the impact of new product, investment, and modernization projects on factory performance.
• Lead projects in accordance with the VSU methodology (Construction, FAT, SAT, Commissioning, Qualification, Verification).
• Develop integrated project launch schedules, including:
  • training needs analysis,
  • skills matrix preparation,
  • coordination and support of departmental training.
• Participate in risk analysis and seek optimal solutions from both factory and market perspectives.
• Define necessary resources for project execution and create responsibility matrices.
• Ensure readiness of all involved personnel and factory systems at the time of project launch (AM, PM, static & dynamic CenterLine, QualityWindow, CiL, Quality Self Inspection documentation, training).
• Manage VSU project teams and coordinate their activities.

• Higher education in engineering, food technology, production management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the dairy or food industry.
• Proven track record in managing high-impact investment projects (CAPEX), including cost optimization and cross-functional coordination. Familiarity with IWS (integrated Work System) as Initial Manager would be a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of production processes, especially in food or dairy manufacturing.
• Experience with VSU methodology (Construction, FAT, SAT, Commissioning, Qualification, Verification) is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze and improve production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent project management skills, including resource planning, risk analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Polish language skills are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in the food industry.
