Danone Türkiye is looking for a talented colleague for the "Senior Plant Manager, Hendek " position. Take this opportunity to GROW together! 

In this role, you will lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for the water plant, reporting directly to the Head of Industrial, North Cluster. You will ensure full compliance with product quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards while acting as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams and industrial stakeholders. Through the application of best practices, you will drive operational excellence, secure consistent product performance, and optimize resource allocation across the facility.

In this role you will: 

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable Compliance, Quality, Food Safety, and Workplace Safety requirements across all industrial operations; guarantee that all procedures, work instructions, and legal obligations are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously updated.

• Foster a safe working environment aligned with local regulations, striving for zero accidents by promoting a strong safety culture through continuous coaching on safety behaviors, routines, and mindset.

• Ensure that finished products are manufactured consistently in line with defined standards, delivered on time, and aligned with consumer expectations. Collaborate closely with the technical team and other factories to apply best practices and harmonize standards.

• Design and manage workforce development programs aimed at ensuring operational flexibility of both workforce and assets. Maintain a strong focus on material availability, finished goods quality, and on-time delivery through optimal resource planning and allocation.

• Ensure that planning, implementation, and required maintenance activities are in place to enhance manufacturing efficiency and minimize unplanned breakdowns.

• Lead and embed a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement. Champion operational excellence and actively support team performance.

• Provide timely feedback, feedforward, and coaching to individuals and teams to support their development and to achieve both individual and organizational objectives.

• Develop and implement projects and procedures aimed at reducing operating costs and improving total productivity, and ensure effective control and sustainability of these processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

• Proven experience in managing complex and large teams

• Strong background in change management and project management, working effectively with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels and manage key stakeholder expectations

• Result-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking

• Demonstrated ability to empower teams, motivate them, and support capability development

• Experience working in unionized environments

• Experience in large-scale CAPEX projects, particularly in automation

• Experience leading safety improvement programs in environments with significant blue-collar workforce

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP

• Fluency in Turkish & English.
