The SN R&I Data Valorization Senior Team leader will be accountable and responsible to drive a step change in data: collection, management, and valorization globally through a series of data initiatives, for example predictive formulation tool & models, global data lakes, and others. Ensuring that global data needs across SN R&I (Specialized Nutrition, Research & Innovation) are addressed. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the DDAI (Digital, Data & Artificial Intelligence) initiative to develop a predictive formulation tool for SN, integrating data for PLM, databases, individual tools, and predictive models.  Including completing project brief, engaging with vendors, engaging with category teams for the necessary modelling and driving the project timeline & technical solutions. 

• Driving & building global SN R&I Data valorization (including modeling) strategy and roadmap for the predictive formulation tool, and in conjunction with Cybele. 

• Accountable for initiatives on current roadmap related to data, for example shelf-life data lake, raw material monitoring data lake, recipe impact assessment tool, document digitization tool, reporting tools on data inconsistencies. As well as supporting initiatives in User Experience and Pack Dev related to data. All in cooperation with the Systems & Business process team, Knowledge Fundamental Center (KFC) and Category Center of Excellence (COE) teams. 

• Analyzing relevant databases to understand potential data value in Danone, and drive a mindset of data modeling across SN R&I. 

• Engage with (senior) stakeholders on projects through different forums, including Steering committees 

• As needed collaborate with Systems & Business process engineer in Utrecht and Business support organization in Opole, Poland. 

• Aligning, agreeing and owning KPIs related to Data Quality along with KFC. 

• Driving discussion on holistic needs for data driven solutions in SN R&I, translating into technical requirements for own team and or systems team while working with KFC to drive the mindset of data driven decision making. 

• Align data quality & analytics requirements with relevant stakeholders across global SN R&I.  

Team management: 

• Manage a small team with clear performance KPIs, deliverables, and timelines 

• Animate global set of suppliers & specialist 

To be successful in the role of SN R&I Data Senior Team leader we expect you to have a strong background in IT, Data modeling, as well as a good working knowledge of R&I and specifically product development, ideally within a food/pharma R&I environment. You bring excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with various functions and zones. Robust organizational capabilities, setting targets, KPIs, and dashboards to manage a team. You are a professional with extensive experience in R&I / product development tools and processes. In addition, you should be able to: 

• Proven experience in project management and the ability to drive change in an organization globally is a must 

• Ability to communicate with different (senior) levels in the organization & great sense driven networking skills 

• Resilience and determination to make things happen  

• Process & conceptual thinker with a critical and analytical mindset 

• Autonomous with a curiosity to pioneer and test new approaches, structures, and governance 

• SAP and Bestmix experience are good to have, while modeling, computer programming and building BI solution, are a must. 

• Strong affinity for knowledge, data, systems, AI; Experience with conceptual & logical data model design 

• Collaborative mindset with proven leadership skills to persuade others and work effectively across diverse functions and zones.
