SNU Regional and Local Coman Governance Manager
 (Zoetermeer – Fulltime /Hybrid)

Quality & Food Safety are essential for SN products due to the vulnerability of our consumers and increased vigilance of authorities. This position works within Danone’s Quality & Food Safety department, SN Coman and NMD team. The primary responsibility is to ensure the Quality and Food Safety of SN product being produced at Comanufacturing locations (including non-controlled JV’s and licensees).


This position must ensure that all SNu Comanufacturing locations produce safe products of the highest and most consistent quality by assuring compliance with Danone standards and operating protocols. This role will also lead the management of ongoing performance improvement and compliance with standards.

Your main responsibilities are:

  1. Governance of the QFS processes of the SNu global, regional and local Comanufacturing network.
  2. Driving implementation of SNu Coman strategy in line with Danone and QFS priorities.
  3. Lead as the key point of contact to local and global QFS and cross functional teams relative to QFS issues in SNu Comanufacturing network.
  4. Deliver Danone Quality & Food Safety Compliance and improvement by supporting local team on audit follow-up and gap closure across SNu network
  5. Develop and manage key performance metrics that can detect weak signals, driving appropriate action plans.
  6. Support local teams in troubleshoot problems associated with production across all SNu coman facilities; ensure root cause / corrective actions are appropriate and are fully implemented.
  7. Ensure implementation of Danone QFS management system across the SNu Comanufacturing network.
  8. Collaborate internally to deliver SN Comanufacturing products to the market that meet Danone’s standards.
  9. Participate in the global Comanufacturing Network. Deliver on reporting requirements and best practice sharing.
  10. Stay current with emerging risks and ensure plans are in place to anticipate and mitigate those risks.
  11. Support business initiatives, contributing to deliver the business and innovation targets without compromising Quality & Food Safety.
  12. All other duties as assigned.

About you

About You
As SNu Regional and Local Coman Governance Manager, you interact on a daily base with our other Danone CBU’s on Global base. Your way of working is structured and accurate.
Furthermore you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Food Science/Technology or a similar major.
• Minimum 5 years of experience related to quality and food safety
• Experience managing external suppliers/Comanufacturers for at least 3 years.
• Experience in problem solving and driving conflict resolution
• Work experience in managing remote teams and collaborating with global teams.

• People skills to manage & develop a teammember

Next to this you:

• Understand QFS Management Systems (GFSI, FSCC2200 in specific), Pre-requisite programs, Food Safety principles, Hygienic Design and Food Production processes.
• Knowledge, or ability to learn, of SN standards and regulations
• Show Leadership and people management
• Ability to work under deadlines, with multiple priorities
• Ability to work remotely cross-functionally within organization
• Must be adaptable and flexible
• Self-driven, results oriented, able to work independently
• Excellent communication / presentation and influencing skills
• Excellent record keeping / documentation skills
• Detail oriented.
• Able to quickly learn new systems, tools, and programs
• Able to travel internationally/continentally (30%)
