As the Senior Finance Revenue Growth Manager, you will shape and drive the development and execution of Danone Japan’s revenue optimization, pricing, and value creation strategies across the full portfolio. This role requires strong financial expertise, analytical rigor and strategic business insight to maximize profitable growth. You will deliver clear, data driven recommendations that optimize pricing, trade terms and promotional investments.
You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to ensure decisions are grounded in robust financial analysis and aligned with mid and long term business objectives. As a senior finance advisor, you will influence leadership through fact based insights and help steer the organization toward sustainable, profitable growth.
In this role, you will co lead cross functional business planning processes and play a key part in customer and channel performance analysis. You will also act as a key enabler of digital transformation, building and leveraging analytical tools and dashboards to enhance the quality, speed and impact of RGM decision making.
<Main responsibilities Strategy & Leadership>
• Lead the development and execution of Danone Japan RGM strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and market realities.
• Provide strategic thought leadership on pricing, promotion, channel strategy, and portfolio mix to enhance revenue and margin performance.
Promotion & Investment Optimization
• Evaluate trade spending effectiveness using ROI analysis and predictive modelling.
• Provide guidance on promotional guidelines and investment allocation.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to recommend the most efficient promotion strategies.
Customer & Channel Profitability
• Drive customer-level profitability analysis
• Identify margin expansion opportunities across channels and segments, balancing customer needs with financial priorities.
Insights, Analytics & Performance Management
• Lead development of RGM dashboards, KPIs, and performance reviews.
• Translate data-driven insights into clear, actionable recommendations for the Management Team
• Maintain governance and discipline around pricing and investment processes.
Business Partnering & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as the Finance lead for cross-functional RGM initiatives, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations
• Co lead cross functional business planning processes
Governance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and pricing governance frameworks.
• Identify risks and opportunities proactively and steer mitigation & gap fill plans with stakeholders.
<Education background>
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, revenue management or a related role. Proven experience in pricing strategy, revenue forecasting and financial modelling is a plus
<Technical Skills and Experiences required >
• Strong financial acumen with deep experience in pricing, P&L management and profitability analysis.
• Advanced analytical and modelling skills; ability to translate complex data into clear insights and business recommendations.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior and channel economics
• Ability to identify growth opportunities and articulate clear strategic choices
• Proficiency with advanced analytics tools, dashboards and digital solutions (e.g., Power BI or internal platforms).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Data management and visualization capabilities
• Fluent spoken and written Japanese and English
