Danone MENA is looking for a talented Supply Chain Analyst to be based in Cairo, Egypt like you!

Danone is a world-leading food company operating in the Specialized Nutrition.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

1. Management of the logistics budget

2. Project deployment for process efficiencies

3. Management of the strategic hub

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Freight Management:

a) Monthly cost management incl. analysis, tracking, action plan & efficiency improvement

b) 3 way matching (linking accruals to shipments and invoices)

c) 3PL relationship management

d) Monthly probuyer update

• Deployment of project management:

a) Customer service process efficiency projects

b) Route to Market Optimization projects

• Management and deployment of the strategic hub:

a) PO/GR creation in SAP

b) Management of notification once a shipment arrives or is deployed with proof and the actual quantity arrived

c) Create the GRs on probuyer for freight costs & management of freight costs

d) Outbound process management (addressing issues, booking and approval of freight rates)

• Management of claims with Supply points and Freight forwarders across all markets

• Monitoring and analysing KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of Supply Chain strategies and identify areas of improvement.

• Working closely with cross functional teams to ensure seamless coordination within Supply Chain as required.

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a multinational FMCG and/or Pharma company

• Primarily hands on knowledge on local distributor management and supply chain management.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree

• Competency in use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Advance excel proficiency

• Supply chain flow (upstream to downstream)

• Logistics management

• Value creation through cross functional management

SOFT SKILLS:

• Strong communication skills

• Strong ownership & accountability

Languages required: Fluent in English & Arabic as an advantage

Mobility: 

Ideally the candidate should be open to move within the region or outside the region within Danone in 3-4 years, if such opportunity will arise which and contribute to his/her career growth
