About the job

For effective onboarding and better tasks handover, this position will start at Danone site in Fulda, Germany. Thus, relocation to Germany will be required for a period of 4-5 months, during this time you will be employed based on a german contract). The final location for this position is Danone Planning Center in Katowice. 

 

 

In this role you will be responsible for 

  • daily updates to the production plan based on incoming orders and sales forecasts, along with verifying plan execution by factories,
  • maintain and communicate production plans, addressing imbalances in demand and supply within 1-14 weeks horizon,
  • manage exceptions, collaborate on RCA, and ensure corrective actions for capacity shortage,  
  • escalate capacity and material supply issues, supporting scenario planning and course corrections,  
  • improve CSL, minimize aged FG write off, and participate in Non-performing Inventory Management,  
  • execute actions for activity management, seasonal activities, and new product launches. 

About you

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have: 

  • openness for relocation to Germany for first 4-5 months,
  • minimum 2 years of professional experience in the area of Supply Chain planning (preferred industries: FMCG, Automotive, Manufacturing and similar),
  • good level of English (B2/C1) is a must, any other European language will be an asset,
  • experience in production planning,
  • continuous improvement mindset,
  • ability to build effective relationships,
  • analytical thinking with a strong focus on details,
  • good knowledge of Excel,
  • familiarity with SAP APO would be an asset.
