About the job

We are looking for a person who will join Danone Planning Center in Katowice as a Supply Network Planning Manager

 

In this role you will be responsible for: 

 

  • Owning and managing the tactical planning process including supply network optimization,
  • Supporting innovation and demand risks and opportunities qualification in the GPS cycle through scenario planning,
  • Owning the E2E planning process across the full horizon and for all material types and rough-cut capacity planning,
  • Creating the supply plan for the central supply chain preempting issues and deciding on trade-offs in advance,
  • Collaboration with executive planners, production teams, and scheduling planners to ensure coordinated execution and communicate decisions effectively, addressing any questions and doubts from plant and Sales teams,
  • Resolving potential capacity issues in collaboration with plants/supply points and schedulers,
  • Optimizing supply chain priorities, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term business goals.

 

About you

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have 

  • Minimum 4 years in Supply Chain Management or a related role, preferably within the FMCG company,
  • Experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment,
  • Relevant higher education degree,
  • Excellent proficiency in English, with strong communication skills,
  • Ability to drive short-term decisions and arbitration while maintaining a strategic vision,
  • Proven ability to make effective decisions under pressure in a dynamic production environment,
  • Quick grasp of financial impacts to drive informed decision-making.
