About the job

The key to the role is to manage and optimize supply chain activities, ensuring that production plans align with market demands and stock availability. This role involves proactively addressing exceptions, imbalances, and supply constraints, all while driving continuous improvement and maintaining high customer service levels within operational horizons.
Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee master production plans, ensuring alignment with market demand and inventory availability
  • Lead execution within assigned plants over the operational horizon; address demand and supply imbalances, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions; escalate capacity and material supply issues as needed
  • Lead production scenario planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective supply allocation across the network; balance demand and supply while considering all constraints
  • Optimize customer service levels; take responsibility for short-term product availability and minimize finished goods write-offs; define service level guidelines based on target service levels
  • Lead decision-making related to non-performing inventory and drive overall inventory optimization across the supply network
  • Execute action plans for seasonal activities, new product launches, and improvements in case fill rates
  • Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, identify constraints, and develop actionable improvement plans
  • Ensure effective collaboration across departments, with clear roles and responsibilities; act as an escalation point within the network and with suppliers; collaborate on root cause analysis with the Supply Network Planning Lead

About you

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain/planning in production environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, able to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels and skilled in managing cross-functional stakeholders across factories, logistics, and planning
  • Proven experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, PDCA or similar)
  • Strong process orientation with a focus on standardization and execution discipline
  • Drives structured ways of working, governance, and accountability
  • Focused on eliminating inefficiencies and maximizing team capacity
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams in dynamic environments with strong focus on coaching, mentoring, and building team capabilities
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, ability to manage short-term supply challenges, constraints, and trade-offs
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to balance service, cost, and efficiency (SCO triangle)
