About the job

MISSION

 

As a member of a Global Sustainable Sourcing team your key misson to define and drive the implementation of Danone’s environmental and social ambitions in our global supply chain.

 

You will be working inside a global team and Cycles & Procurement, leading RESPECT, Danone’s Risk & Due diligence program for its supply chain.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Lead the execution and development RESPECT, including:
 
  • Drafting category action plans, receive approvals, plan on execution.
  • Development of the existing KPIs and measurement tools.
  • Define key focus areas (e.g. supplier segmentation and CBUs action plans), and design and implement pilot projects.
  • Roll-out planning and alignment with SSP (Sustainable Sourcing Policy) responsible.
  • Defining and implementing Audit strategies.
  • Implement risk-based approaches through tailor-made programs based on category and spend.
  • Define processes and action plans for supplier engagements in collaboration with Sustainable Sourcing policy manager.
  • Engaging and working with global and regional procuremet teams and other enabling functions such as legal and compliance.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders and represent Danone in relevant coalitions.
  • Assist colleagues responsible for other areas of Sustainable Sourcing such as: deforestation, regenerative agriculture (social dimension), diversity and inclusion in supply chain.
  • Internal & external stakeholder management.
  • Team management (setting priorities and distribution of tasks, future career growth and development).
 

About you

INNOVATION SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

•Pragmatism, “hands on” mentality, and strategic business approach.
•Ability to navigate in ambiguous environment, tenacity with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities.
•Capacity to engage on sustainability topics.
•Experience within the sourcing team – ability to engage
•Capacity to provide vision for environmental and social targets within Danone to embody the dual project
•Coordination between different internal stakeholders
 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

 

  • Education: Bachelor, Masters degree preferred in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental sciences or Human rights.
  • Minimum 5 years experience inside a Sustainability Consultancy or at FCMG company in sustainability team.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing sustainable sourcing practices within category plans and sourcing strategies.
  • Proven track record in delivering and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to RESPECT or similar sustainability frameworks.
  • Experience in defining and implementing sustainability strategies, including developing operational frameworks.
  • Strong background in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainability initiatives.
