Danone is seeking a passionate Territory Business Manager to join our team in a permanent role. You’ll be responsible for driving category growth across the NSW South territory by promoting Danone’s specialised nutrition portfolio to pharmacy customers. This portfolio spans a wide spectrum of care from infant nutrition to cognitive health in older adults. In this role, you’ll build strong customer relationships, deliver impactful product training, and execute in-store strategies that boost visibility and drive results. Your success will contribute to better health outcomes and sustainable growth for both our pharmacy partners and Danone.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer relationships- Drive customer engagement through consultative selling, strategic planning, and collaborative negotiation to deliver win-win outcomes.
  • Plan and build new growth opportunities for customers- Leverage category insights and sales data to tailor store-level strategies, drive new product activation, and maximise on-shelf availability and revenue.
  • Training- Deliver engaging product and therapeutic training and build strong retail partnerships while ensuring compliance with health, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Excellence in ‘Retail In-Store’ Execution - Enhance the in-store shopper experience by executing data-driven merchandising strategies, growing brand visibility, and creating impactful shopper touchpoints along the path to purchase.
  • Culture - Embody Danone’s values through accountability, safety, collaboration, and continuous development to positively impact team culture and performance.

About you

You are a driven and customer-focused sales professional with a passion for health and nutrition. With experience in pharmacy, FMCG, or healthcare sales, you thrive on building strong relationships, delivering value through education, and executing in-store strategies that make a real impact. You’re commercially savvy, self-motivated, and ready to grow your career with a purpose-led organisation like Danone.

 

Ideally, you will have:

 

  • Experience as a pharmaceutical representative, with a strong background in training and educating a broad range of healthcare professionals.
  • Key Account Management experience (highly regarded).
  • A passion for paediatrics, nutrition, or pharmacy, with a desire to grow and develop within Danone.
  • Knowledge or experience in Nutrition, Science, Nursing, Marketing, Grocery, Retail, or Finance (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Commercial acumen to identify and act on business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and networking abilities.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work independently while managing your time effectively.
