About the job

As a V.I.E HR Expertise within the HR Expertise team, you will be part of a department that includes Rewards, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition & Management. You will have the opportunity to support these three areas of expertise and gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities and projects.

 

In this role, you will collaborate closely with various HR teams such as HR Business Partners, HR Administration, Payroll, and the Compensation & Benefits Manager. You will also build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and external partners, including applicants and service providers.

This V.I.E assignment is based in Brussels, starting in September/October 2026, for a duration of 12 months.

 

Your main responsibilities are very diverse :

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for V.I.E positions and internships, ensuring an inclusive and positive candidate experience.
  • Create and optimize job ads; support hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Communicate with candidates (feedback, offers, onboarding).
  • Support Talent Attraction Managers on key recruitment tasks for permanent roles and employer branding initiatives.

Learning & Development

  • Assist our Learning team with administrative tasks including registration of learning hours, training participation tracking, qualitative reporting and creation of PO numbers.
  • Organize logistical elements for face‑to‑face training sessions
  • Support external trainers and ensure they are set-up to facilitate smooth sessions
  • Co-drive certain Learning initiatives and projects; for example our annual Development Conversation campaign; local implementation of a new Learning Management system etc.

Rewards

  • Support annual rewards cycles, including salary reviews, incentives, and benchmark data collection.
  • Contribute to the development and governance of HR policies.
  • Assist with benefits administration and help communicate compensation and benefits information clearly to employees.
  • Participate in project teams focused on designing and implementing new benefit offerings or integrating regulatory updates into HR processes.
  • Conduct data quality checks and support recurring reporting activities.

About you

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered : 

  • You obtained a relevant Master degree and have a strong passion for HR in particular. A previous (internship) experience in  HR is a definite plus.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Are digitally savvy
  • Work accurately with attention to detail
  • Are well organized and punctual
  • Have strong analytical skills

Are you eligible for a V.I.E?

V.I.E is a type of contract linked to Business France (French public organism) allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 6 to 24 months contract.

  • You must be aged 18 to 28. You must have completed national service obligation.
  • You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area.
  • You must have never worked in the country in which you wish to do your V.I.E.
  • You have never done a V.I.E before.

What are the contractual advantages of the V.I.E ?

  • There are no taxes and charges on salary, as a V.I.E your social security is covered by April international.
  • You will be granted with 2,5 days off per month.
  • Your gratification is fixed according to the Business France grid.
  • The cost of your back-and-forth flight or train tickets is covered.
