STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS
I support our suppliers in creating and scaling their programs with farmers, while buying the sugar used by our European factories. I'm fortunate that the teams and I stand on the shoulders of giants - there's already so much to build on. On sugar, Danone has been leading on unlocking regenerative sugar beet for over a decade.
IT STARTED WHEN I RAISED MY HAND
Sustainability wasn't originally part of my role, but I was passionate about it. I raised my hand to get involved and was trusted to take it on - first for the fruit team, then across the wider food team. Danone really encourages you to pursue your interests and take on additional responsibilities that align with your passions. The support I've received has been incredible.
PUSHING STANDARDS HIGHER
I also support the implementation of our Forest Policy — making sure that the ingredients we source come from supply chains free of deforestation. It's a commitment I'm proud of, because the bar we've set is genuinely ambitious. It's helped Danone stand out, and it also pushed our suppliers to raise their own standards.

What motivates me most is working with bright, motivated and fun minds, both within and outside of Danone. There's real openness too - you can approach anyone, at any level, making it easy to learn and share ideas. We care for one another, and our collaborative spirit makes it easy to build connections.
