Sobre el trabajo

Position Purpose

The Product Owner – Marketing Category & Insights owns the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and value delivery for the digital products supporting marketing analytics and consumer insights. The role is accountable for converting business strategy into product priorities, balancing value, feasibility, compliance, and scalability, and ensuring that the delivered capabilities support decision-making across marketing, eCommerce, consumer care, and commercial teams.

Context of the Area

The Marketing Category & Insights area is responsible for IT & Data capabilities that enable measurement, visibility, and optimization of digital consumer and marketing performance. Its scope includes web analytics, SEO, tagging, cookies and consent management, consumer behavioral data from D2C and eCommerce, dashboarding, consumer tracking, and contact center analytics. The Product Owner must ensure this ecosystem evolves through a coherent roadmap, trusted data capture, sustainable product design, and strong adoption by business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Agile Delivery

  • Own the product vision, backlog, prioritization logic, and expected value of Marketing Category & Insights products.
  • Prioritize features, defects, enablers, and enhancements based on business value, risk, dependencies, compliance needs, and delivery capacity.
  • Ensure user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria are sufficiently clear to enable efficient and high-quality squad delivery.
  • Lead product discovery and delivery in an iterative and adaptive manner, ensuring the squad remains focused on the most valuable outcomes.
  • Validate that releases meet expected business outcomes and support rollout/adoption after deployment.

Road Mapping & Solution Design

  • Define and maintain the roadmap for the domain, aligning product evolution with business priorities, compliance requirements, and technical dependencies.
  • Translate strategic goals into phased product increments, MVPs, enhancements, and foundational enablers.
  • Evaluate solution options with the squad and partners, balancing reuse, scalability, speed-to-value, and sustainability.
  • Ensure that product design integrates process, tagging, measurement, reporting, dashboard, privacy, and adoption considerations.

Business & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Act as the primary product counterpart for Marketing, eCommerce, Media, Consumer Care, Privacy/Legal, Data, and IT stakeholders.
  • Understand user pain points and business priorities and reflect them in a clear product direction.
  • Manage competing priorities and align stakeholders through transparent trade-off decisions and roadmap communication.
  • Lead governance conversations related to scope, priorities, dependencies, adoption, and expected value realization.

Planning Processes

  • Own product capabilities related to digital measurement strategy, tagging governance, KPI standardization, dashboarding, and consumer journey analytics.
  • Ensure the product supports SEO insight requirements, D2C and eCommerce behavioral data capture, and contact center insight generation.
  • Govern consent-aware data collection and cookie-management-related requirements in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Translate all core processes into scalable product capabilities with clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and sustainable operating practices.

Systems, Data & Quality

  • Own product-level quality expectations for tagging, tracking, dashboards, KPI consistency, and reporting reliability.
  • Oversee issue prioritization, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis for product-related incidents and data gaps.
  • Ensure governance of KPI definitions, business rules, measurement frameworks, access considerations, and product usage indicators.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure the integrity of data flows across analytics platforms, dashboards, CMS environments, and downstream insight layers.

Continuous Improvement

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve product usability, scalability, standardization, and value realization.
  • Promote experimentation, learning loops, pilot use cases, and KPI-led reviews to strengthen product outcomes.
  • Drive consistent documentation and product governance practices across releases and stakeholders.
  • Track and communicate outcome indicators such as adoption, usage, data quality, time-to-insight, and stakeholder satisfaction.
