Material S&OP Senior Manager

Are you ready to shape material planning decisions across Europe and influence business outcomes at scale? We're looking for an experienced supply chain leader who can connect planning, procurement, suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure material availability while balancing service, inventory, risk and cost.

What you'll do

• Lead and continuously improve the European Material S&OP process for Raw & Packaging Materials.
• Consolidate material requirements across categories, countries and manufacturing sites into a single regional view.
• Identify supply risks, assess supplier constraints and develop mitigation scenarios to support business continuity.
• Translate complex material challenges into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Integrate material planning insights into the IBP/S&OP cycle and drive Risks & Opportunities discussions.
• Partner closely with Procurement, suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve planning collaboration and reliability.
• Monitor key planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, inventory coverage, supplier OTIF and material availability.
• Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis, process optimization and planning standardization.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Planning.
• Strong expertise in MRP and translating finished goods demand into raw and packaging material requirements.
• Proven experience leading S&OP or IBP planning processes.
• Strong understanding of supplier capacity management, constraints and risk assessment.
• Experience with scenario modelling and balancing service, inventory, cost and supply risks.
• Advanced analytical skills, including Excel and KPI reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions and organizational boundaries.

The team you will be working with is the Danone Planning Center (DPC), a newly opened, technologically advanced competency center located in Katowice. DPC is responsible for supply chain planning for fresh dairy, plant-based products, specialized nutrition and first diet from Nutricia. Covering all European countries, this innovative hub utilizes cutting-edge technology to optimize and revolutionize planning processes. With its advanced technological solutions, DPC would play a key role in ensuring supply chain efficiency across the continent.
