Danoners are steering us to a more sustainable future, helping to make the world healthier. As a certified B-Corp, we have our Danone Impact Journey to 2025. This will only be possible with each and every one of our leaders.

Role Purpose:

Our Enteral Nurses are registered nurses across the UK who provide reassurance and support for people who tube feed at home. They ensure that everyone who tube feeds or cares for someone who does can do so safely and independently at home and are key to building strong partnership relationships with our Healthcare Customers. Our nurses provide:

  • Training to support safe and speedy hospital discharges.
  • Regular reviews and trouble-shooting advice to help prevent unnecessary hospital stays, including tube changes within Care and Residential Homes within the Community.
  • Support with Flocare Infinity 2 and 3 pumps, equipment questions and enteral feeding tube queries.
  • Training to professional care agencies, healthcare community teams, schools, respite centres, etc.

Key Activities:

  • Provision of dedicated enteral feeding care to patients ready to be discharged from the acute and the patients within their own homes in the community.
  • Adhere to the Nursing and Midwifery Council code of conduct and Professional Practice with a key focus on record keeping.
  • Maintain high level of clinical competence and knowledge and be confident and competent in practises that are current, and evidence based.
  • Act as an ambassador for Nutricia both internally and externally, demonstrating key role model behaviours and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver educational support and training, in a variety of settings to patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to keep them up to date with the latest safe practice in tube feeding.
