Manage and support resources to grow Danone North America’s Plant Based Beverages at Walmart. Build and execute customer/category plans that support categories to deliver goals and achieve net sales and POS sales growth targets. Ensure leadership and cross-functional company efforts are involved with developing the customer relationship and business strategy. Strive to be a great team member.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage Walmart Plant-Based Beverage business by overseeing the creation and execution of customer plans with high integrity.
  • Build strong and strategic relationships with Walmart contacts, particularly the merchant, through evident problem solving, transparency and integrity.
    • Support team (customer planning and customer team) in developing the annual sales plan/budget, category strategy, distribution plan and be accountable for the integrity of the plans.
    • Support high-value sales process activities and problem solve best approach with the business team - opportunity identification/creation, negotiations, deal closure
    • Participate with customer and internal teams on multi-year business planning process to inform customer plan
    • Ensure internal resources/experts (category leadership, planning, omnichannel activation, etc.) are being used to create vertically integrated plans with the customer
    • Participate in monthly demand planning process (S&OP) to create an accurate forecast
    • Identify when plan adjustments are needed based on monthly and quarterly sales volumes and trade spend versus budget
    • Provide ad-hoc reports and presentations for sales leadership (e.g., visits from corporate Danone, in-market reviews, etc.)
    • Provide insights to and work with Category Commercial and other cross-functional teams to create clear, cohesive business growth strategy
    • Build and maintain strong Danone culture and strive to demonstrate Danone’s Leadership Behaviors in your role.
    • We have a flexible work environment that blends office and remote work. We aim to be present in the Arkansas Hub office to promote a strong team bond and learn from each other. This is best achieved if we all aim to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week. The office is open 5 days a week and you can choose the days that work best for you.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $140,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. About you

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree
  • 3-6 years of experience within CPG industry
  • Living in NWA with the ability to be in the Rogers’ office multiple times a week is required
  • Prior experience of supporting sales lead in customer meetings preferred
  • Exposure to other sales sub-functions (category management, shopper marketing, retail, etc.) preferred
