Types

Why do we use cookies?

There are a few reasons why we may use cookies:

Duration

There are a few reasons why we may use cookies:

  • The duration of the validity of the cookies exempted of consent (e.g. strictly necessary cookies) is 13 months. Information collected or inferred through cookies is kept by Danone for a maximum period of 25 months.

  • When your prior consent is required for their use (e.g. certain analytics cookies, social media cookies, cookies for advertising purposes), the period of validity of the consent to the deposit of cookies is 6 months. At the end of this period, we will ask for your consent again.

These are cookies that we need to be able to offer you a proper functioning website and which enables you to make use of the services we provide.

Cookie associated with Snapchat. Sets a unique ID for the visitor, that allows third party advertisers to target the visitor with relevant advertisement. This pairing service is provided by third party advertisement hubs, which facilitates realtime bidding for advertisers.

How do I manage cookies?

It’s possible to withdraw your consent to cookies at any time, block cookies or even delete cookies that have already been placed on your device directly on our site, by clicking on the “Privacy Center” button in the website footer. If you do so, you may not be able to access certain parts of our website and we may think that you have never visited us before and will therefore show you the Cookie Statement again and ask for your consent in placing cookies.

  • Select “Settings”.
  • At the bottom of the page, select “Show advanced settings”.

  • Select “Prohibit all sites from storing data”.
  • Select OK.
  • Click “Settings”> “Safari”> “Privacy”> “Cookies and Website Data” 
  • Then select “always block”.

However, if you decide to refuse session or functionality cookies, you will not be able to access many of the options offered by Danone. As such, we cannot be held responsible in the event of degraded operation of the site linked to the settings you have chosen.

 

Finally, if you have deactivated one or more cookies, we can still use the information collected by these cookies before their deactivation. Nevertheless, we stop collecting data through the refused cookie.
