Associate Manager, Marketplaces

About the job

We are seeking a passionate well-rounded marketplace professional– someone who has hands-on experience inside Amazon Marketplace platforms and understands how media, content, operations, and analytics work together to drive growth.

The Associate Manager, Marketplaces will help accelerate Amazon and Walmart performance across both Vendor Central (1P) and Seller Central (3P) models. This role actively manages catalogs, content, pricing signals, inventory health, and onsite execution, while also partnering with agencies and internal teams on media, promotions, and growth initiatives.

This role will work across all Nutricia brands and will work very closely with Marketplace Associate Manager merchandising and sale activities for our marketplace customers on Seller Central (3P) and Vendor Central (1P) listings. This role also partners with existing digital marketing resources to drive sales growth on our marketplaces by delivering improved sell-through, market share improvement, increased average order value and brand awareness. This should be achieved by implementing data-driven merchandising strategies and improvements in customer experience.

Essential Functions:

Marketplace Operations & Catalog Ownership (Core)

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day responsibilities associated with managing Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central and Walmart Seller Center, with potential expansion into other marketplaces
  • Own day-to-day catalog health including titles, bullets, A+/enhanced content, images, attributes, variations, and compliance.
  • Monitor and maintaining Brand Registry, resolve suppressed ASINs, manage cases, and address listing issues

Commercial & Inventory Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations and Supply chain to support FBA inventory health, forecasting inputs, and avoidance of LTSF, chargebacks, and nuisance fees
  • Put together inventory and sell-through reports to ID risks and opportunities
  • Support pricing, promotions, and deal execution across marketplaces
  • Work closely with Brand, Category, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with brand positioning and business goals
  • Stay current on marketplace platform updates and evolving best practices

Onsite Marketing & Growth

  • Partner with internal team and agencies on retail media, with enough platform fluence to brief, challenge, and optimize-not just receive reports
  • ID and test initiatives to improve traffic, conversion, AOV, and share
  • Set-up and execute when applicable promos

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track daily and weekly KPIs (traffic, conversion, availability, buy box, ROAS, inventory health)
  • Translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Conduct competitive analysis across pricing, content, and promotional strategies.

The salary range for this position is $92k-100k USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options.
