You will support eCommerce customers through analyzing customer performance to inform and support sales team in driving business at customer. Pull customer data, track scorecard metrics/customer KPIs, and perform analysis that provide insights to analysts, KAM, Director & VP to shape customer conversations and plans. Input sales/customer information into data systems. Support sales teams with administrative tasks. Monitor trade performance and update systems to reflect liabilities
You Will
Pull data and perform analyses to support sales team in growing the business at assigned customers
• Support Sales, Finance and Demand Planning through weekly/monthly data pulls providing volume, sales, weeks of supply, and providing insights into key trends and opportunities
• Improve forecasting through development and maintenance of monthly customer forecast templates analyzing consumption trends and customer order history
• Utilize syndicated, panel, or customer data to analyze the business, understand business trends, and provide a point of view on solutions
• Deliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls, presentation development, etc.
• Perform analyses to identify new distribution and incremental sales opportunities for given customer(s)
• Generate sales reports in support of customer performance and contract adherence management
• Support trade management through analyzing current sales performance and consumption trends against liabilities, invoices, and deductions
Input information for sales teams into systems
• Own process for entering and submitting trade updates into the trade management system across all categories for assigned customers ensuring audit compliance
• Own creating, updating, and managing new item setup within Kantar (DCP) for all new items as dictated by account leads
• Own new item setup with customers through entering new item details into customer portals, submitting offline new item forms, securing images from digital shelf, and procuring samples
Support sales teams with administrative tasks
• Support item maintenance through managing and customer product lists, updating pricing, securing compliance documentation, and ensuring specs are up to date
• Support trade management through price block analysis, deduction resolution, and ensuring audit compliance
• Lead direction of cash application of our invoices with the revenue specialist
• Respond and/delegate customer inquiries for item list price updates, ANDON cords, statement requests, and disputes
Build and execute category plans at specific customers to grow business ( where applicable)
• Coordinate selling process for necessary categories at given customer
• Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and priorities within covered categories (e.g., their KPIs, business/category goals, etc.)
• Look for opportunities to gain distribution on new products and improve product exposure (shelf positioning, advertising, and promotions) – including monitoring what competitors are doing
• Assist in negotiations with customer headquarters/category buyers on pricing, new items, and promotions
• Leverage internal resources (category management, customer planning, shopper marketing, etc.) to drive success at customer across covered categories
The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $65,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central preferred
