The Associate Brand Manager (ABM), Pepticate will co-develop and execute both the strategic and tactical marketing plans for Pepticate, in close partnership with the Senior Brand Manager.

 

The ABM will work within a supportive team while maintaining a sense of autonomy to build and drive key brand initiatives that will allow the category to enhance its competitive position and grow sales. This may include promoting successful launches of new products and services, enhancing the competitive position of existing products and driving specific in-market opportunities. Success will involve managing, executing, and tracking key category initiatives, conducting business analytics, supporting the field sales team, as well as organizing and running promotional activities such as in-person and virtual medical conferences. The Senior Brand Manager will support with coaching, input and ideas, professional development support and will take responsibility for overall business results.

 

This role can be based out of White Plains, NY or REMOTE!

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Execute with excellence the brand plan, with focus on innovation
    1. Work as part of a team to implement key tactics that support the innovation pipeline, as laid out in the brand’s ongoing operating plan, including execution of communication strategy across select traditional, digital, social and other emerging media channels.
    2. Effectively brief and engage with key strategic and creative partners and participates in brainstorming, developing and managing promotional campaigns
    3. Develop and implement marketing promotional materials aligned to selling model that effectively engage with key target segments, influencing product awareness, consideration, and trial as well as overall perception.
  2. Support the development of an engaging brand positioning and value proposition
    1. Apply basic understanding of the brand framework model to assist in initiatives to re- enforce and develop the brand positioning with key target audiences.
  3. Manage profitable growth and processes
    1. Facilitate the execution of multiple concurrent marketing initiatives tracking and managing project or program constraints to meet all key performance indicators including cost, time, scope, quality and goals.
    2. Contribute to business forecasting.
    3. Lead on monthly and yearly brand budget reconciliation process from the category marketing perspective, engaging with the wider team to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  4. Perform business analytics
    1. With support from manager and finance, create and align innovation business cases, leveraging market research, category data and qualitative intelligence
  5. Communication
    1. Create and present regular updates on innovation priorities to cross-functional team and leadership
    2. Represent US business priorities on global and local project calls
    3. Facilitate the local innovation process to complete the final steps to bring product to market.
    4. Contribute to the development and manage the execution of launch communication strategies.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

 

The base compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000 commensurate with experience. About you

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of marketing strategies, marketing techniques, qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques and customer research.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management from conception through completion, including budgeting, prioritizing, meeting timelines, and assessing results.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital space including various social media platforms, digital media buying practices, and key digital campaign performance indicators.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Skill with creative and adaptive planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation.
  • Skill in gathering and analyzing data to produce actionable information.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and financial metrics, including sales, return on investments, and profit and loss, developing strategic recommendations accordingly.
  • Ability to use market insights and trends to create actionable tactics, meet brand goals, and problem solve.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams, both in leadership and member roles.
  • Ability to establish rapport and credibility among Nutricia management and employees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and administer marketing strategies.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.

 

Supervisory responsibilities:

The ABM does not have direct reports.

 

Working conditions:

Work is conducted ideally in a hybrid environment with the employee expected to be in the office on a regular basis as aligned with the manager. This role  is remote eligible.

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA strongly preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing or brand management role, including demonstrated digital marketing skills and experience in innovation development and delivery.
  • Experience in healthcare space and/or nutrition experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Superior written and oral communication skills. Ability to convey complex concepts and strategies, orally and in writing; and to effectively design materials and train staff as appropriate.

  • Collaborative business style. Able to work with team members and cross-functionally in own responsibility scope as well as toward corporate objectives and initiatives.
