<Mission>
Contributing to the enhancement and preservation of corporate and brand value for Danone Japan’s corporate brand and product brands (such as Danone Bio, Oikos, Alpro, Baby Danone, Petit Danone, DANONE Yogurt, etc.).
-Supporting the achievement of each Business Unit’s mission, vision, and business objectives by leveraging the reputation of the corporate and product brands.
-To maximize stakeholder engagement and corporate value both internally and externally, valuable content is developed and proposed through communication platforms including press relations, external events, and owned media (such as the corporate website and social media).
<Essential function>
-Identify the communication needs and potential of brands and products, develop aligned external communication strategies, and execute them in a timely and effective manner.
-Optimize external communications projects and maximizing its business impact on brands and Danone Japan Corporate.
-lead the communication function in Crisis Management Team.
<Main responsibilities>
-Strategy planning and implementation: Annual strategy planning and implementation.
-Sensitive and Crisis Communications Lead: SNS monitoring before/during/after crisis, strategy planning and implementation working closely with BUCM, Legal and relevant functions.
-Online and offline media relations (Company and brands): Managing local media relations and cultivating strong media relationships, developing press events and materials for the media online and offline, identifying and maximizing media opportunities (newspaper, TV, magazine, Internet), managing interviews with company’s spokespersons, supporting and promoting Danone’s global and local initiatives, including Danone Nations Cup.
-Communication training & consultation: Consultation of who to speak what, why, when, where and how, e.g., media interviews, and providing media/communication training as needed.
-Company story telling: Identification & leveraging relevant global and local Company stories to build/maintain Danone Company’s image in Japan to inspire and engage stakeholders.
