Channel Development Manager

As a Channel Development Manager, you will set the channel strategies and ensure that they are meeting the overall business strategies and ensure that overall Sales and marketing plans are developed and executed on time with the highest quality.

 

About the job

  • Owns and creates in store execution guideline (picture of success).
  • Developing annual plan that ensures all sales KPIs (sales figures & in-store execution guidelines) at channel level that ensures delivering brand objectives at both channel / region level.
  • Communication with regional team in order to ensure one way of selling across markets in order to get best practices from different markets and customizing their approaches to the Egyptian market.
  • Understand the brand strategy and transform it into meaningful shopper programs / promotions at channel level.
  • Develop channel portfolio and MSL at sub-channel and regional levels in addition to analyzing the result to figure out opportunities and work on revised action plan on how to tackle these opportunities.
  • Monitor & ensure proper in-store visibility guidelines by retail environment.
  • Planning of new product launches and setting major KPIs and display guidelines for every channel.
  • Participate in demand forecasting process by providing relevant channel data.
  • Making sure that all activations are meeting the targeted ROI.
  • Manages customer investment GTN budget, manage spend in line with commercial spend process.
  • Held accountable against channel P&L starting from gross revenue to gross profit.
  • Partnering with sales development team to develop new reports that serve the new business needs.
  • Partnering with sales development team to develop RTM KPIs and providing trade marketing input (channel portfolio, customer and sales force incentives, POS, etc..) that serve fast moving business dynamics.

 

 

About you

  • Min of 3-5 years' experience in Sales and trade marketing.
  • Trade Marketing background is a must.
  • Dealing with different types of channels is a plus.
  • FMCG experience is a must
