In this role as First Diet Supply Points FP&A Controller EU, you report directly to the Plant-Based and First Diet Supply Points FP&A Manager EU. You will be key support for the performance review process of the First Diet Supply Points in Europe. You will be the main point of contact of the finance’s teams in the supply points to ensure a complete and qualitative delivery in time of the management reporting and contribute to the definition of the business objectives. You liaise with different teams (e.g. Finance, Operations, locally but also at Zone and Company Group level) and are the sparring partner for the First Diet operations business (management of internal stakeholders of the  First Diet Category in Europe).

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Financial process definition: As a first challenge in this role, you will support the set up of the financial reporting structure of First Diet as part of the EU zone.
  • Forecasting and Monthly Performance: You coordinate the forecasting process within the First Diet Factories, as well as the monthly closing process and challenge and build the financial results with regards to the Category Targets, ensuring reporting accuracy. You will be the main point of contact of the Factories and will connect them with the Zone Design to Delivery (D2D) finance functions (Logistics, Manufacturing and Materials)
  • You will support on the instruction’s preparation related to all reporting processes (Forecast, Month End Close, Gap to SCP), and contribute to the yearly Standard Costs Price process coordination and communication.
  • Category Performance Animation: You will play a key role in the COGS performance animation of the category with the Zone Leadership team, you contribute on developing an integrated view on the financial performance, based on a detailed interpretation of the business results, to help the Leadership team in making thoughtful business decisions.
  • Procedure definition: You evaluate existing internal reporting processes and procedures to recommend improvements, to manage the risks and to ensure compliance.

About you

About you

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

  • A Master Degree in e.g. Economics, Business Engineering, Finance, etc. or equivalent through experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience, within a financial department. Experience in business/commercial/operations/FP&A controlling.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Team player, demonstrating flexibility, proactiveness and autonomy.
  • You are fluent in English.
