You will oversee account management for assigned customers within the eCommerce sales team reporting to the Director of Sales eCommerce. In this role you will be responsible for the growth of net sales, share, margin, and profit, while staying within budget for the eCommerce division. The ideal candidate will be able to influence both internally and externally, adapt to a fast paced environment with changing customer priorities and collaborate cross functionally to make data driven decisions that lead to growth.
You Will:
• Manage strategy, execution, and planning with eCommerce customers to deliver growth across the Danone portfolio
• Manage business forecast and pacing coordinating with Sales Analysts, Demand Planning, Finance and Customer solutions to ensure proper forecasting and commentary to changes
• Play an integral role in working with Amazon and Danone cross-functional teams to build a sustainable growth plan through assortment development and promotional management with frequent connectivity to monitor performance
• Demonstrate and exhibit Danone’s Leadership Behaviors
• Lead weekly customer calls creating call agendas, monitoring sales performance, inventory levels, trends, KPIs, and actively problem-solving business issues
• Communicate in a timely fashion both written and verbally with customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring that both good news and bad news is shared with equal level of detail
• Assist scenario planning with Revenue Growth Management and Sales Finance to determine financial implications of business changes and implications of customer negotiations and terms ensuring agreed upon sales volume, net sales and profit goals are achieved
• Support customer negotiations through analysis for assortment, terms, promotional opportunities and sales goals
• Provide the analysts with accurate information for New Item Setup (DCP), Trade Management (Kantar), and ensuring Audit compliance with appropriate backup
• Clear understanding of P&L to ensure staying within financial and spend guardrails and submitting incremental (CAD) requests when necessary to support business needs
The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $105,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. • 4+ years of CPG Retail Sales experience
• Experience with Amazon Vendor Central preferred
• Your strengths include organization, people leadership, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• You have a strong understanding of the P&L and financial implications of risks and opportunities
• A strong understanding of trade, forecasting and deduction management
• Growth mindset focused on what would need to be true to deliver goals
• Sets SMART goals that are relevant to department and company strategies
• Ability to take ownership as well as delegate to team members
• Anticipates obstacles and develops plans to address
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
