At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Manager AI Platform Solutions based in City of Industry, CA!  

 

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Manager to serve as Platform/Solution Owner (Digital Manufacturing) for leading the strategy development, implementation, and management of digital manufacturing platforms and solutions. You will be part of the core team on bringing next practices for the industry from AI Digital twins to genAI companions for manufacturing.  

Reporting in the site's Operations Director, this role requires a deep understanding of digital manufacturing technologies, data analytics, and manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency, innovation, and overall production performance. This role combines technical and business expertise to oversee the functional aspects of Platform software and applications (covering capabilities of digital twin, AI, Gen AI etc.) focusing on manufacturing and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Analytics modeling processes and performance, with a strong desire to leverage these technologies. With experience in data scientist, the candidate should have a background that supports the effective use of digital technologies such as AI with Automation for enabling and accelerating leading practices in operational excellence. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

People: 

  • You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, data scientists, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. 
  • You will serve as the functional consultant, bridging technical and business requirements. 
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, IT, engineering, AI teams and business units, to ensure alignment of digital manufacturing initiatives with business objectives. 
  • You will provide training and support to staff on digital manufacturing platforms and best practices. 
  • You will facilitate effective communication between digital manufacturing teams and other departments to ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of issues. 

Process: 

  • You will develop and implement strategies for the deployment and integration of digital manufacturing platforms and solutions across the organization. 
  • You will lead the platform data products including AI libraries in manufacturing covering necessary standard, governance, lifecycle (concept to deployment, maintain to refresh/ retire) and process drive refinements to make them future fit to business needs.  
  • You will identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions by monitoring and analyzing platform performance. 
  • You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date documentation. 
  • You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and system reliability through digital manufacturing insights. 

Technology: 

  • You will lead the design, development, and management of digital manufacturing platforms, including IoT, Edge, AI, and data analytics solutions. 
  • You will ensure the integration of digital manufacturing platforms with IT and Automation systems, promoting IT/Automation convergence. 
  • You will develop and enforce data security policies and procedures to protect platform data integrity. 
  • You stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging them to drive innovation and efficiency. 
  • You have a strong understanding of AI modeling processes and performance metrics. 

 

 

The base compensation range for this position is $158,000-$184,000 per year commensurate with experience. About you

Required Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree (required) preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • You have 8+ years of experience in similar roles and leadership roles in at least two end to end transformation programs 
  • You have a strong knowledge of digital manufacturing technologies, data analytics, and manufacturing processes. 
  • You have proven experience in leading, managing platforms and solutions covering digital twin, data analytics with master data standards. 
  • You have strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.  
  • You can work independently and as part of a team. 
  • You are willing to learn and adapt to new digital technologies and methodologies. 
  • You have experience in Data Science, including data modeling, analytics, and AI technologies.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • You have experience in a functional consultant role, bridging technical and business aspects. 
  • You have project management experience. 
  • You have certifications in digital/AI technologies or relevant methodologies.
