We are currently looking to hire a Medical & Scientific Affairs Director – New Category Development based preferably in DC or FL , but location may be discussable based on candidate experience. This role will be key in bringing an exciting and proven product to the US market and ensuring a credible acceptance amongst Consumers, Carers and HCPs.


In this role, you will be responsible for:


  • Be part of an exciting start-up team with multi-national corporate support.
  • Helping successfully launch an exciting credible, proven nutrition solution on the US market
  • Build and execute a successful pre-launch Experience Program
  • Build and execute a strong National/Regional KOL/Influencer program
  • Co-Develop key influential science-based content for both HCPs and Consumers/Carers.
  • Develop and oversee key Clinical Evidence generation programs with key partners
  • Guide future Memory Support Portfolio Innovation pipeline

About you

  • You will have a Masters Degree in Nutrition or related Memory / Brain Health Topic
  • You will have Minimum 5+ years of experience in the field of Brain Health and Nutrition (medical affairs, clinical practice, product development, R&D, education).
  • Registered HCP, Dietitian or equivalent is preferred.
  • 2 years of clinical practice is preferred
  • Commercial understanding & mindset Is critical
  • Experience in clinical research design and management of clinical trials.
  • Knowledge of the Memory Support Health Landscape is preferable (KOLs, Associations, influencers)

The base compensation range for this position is $165-180K. Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options.
