As a process shift leader, you will lead the Shift/Area Team to manufacture the planned volumes while meeting SQCDMN requirements. You will be responsible for driving day-to-day operational performance in the Processing Area, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation, and Nature are consistently met.

About you

Main Responsibilities:

 

Safety:

  • Improve safety awareness and housekeeping.
  • Implement Danone's 13 WISE elements.
  • Enforce safety procedures to minimize accidents.
  • Investigate incidents and share corrective actions.
  • Conduct weekly safety sessions.
  • Develop safety action plans based on KPI results.

Quality:

  • Implement Food Safety, GMP, AIB, and HACCP processes.
  • Ensure quality parameters are met and address out-of-spec issues.
  • Manage incoming materials quality and develop solutions with suppliers.
  • Implement Food Safety Planned Maintenance Program.
  • Lead investigations for product non-conformities.

Cost:

  • Manage milk and raw material losses.
  • Calculate fat and protein balance and identify gaps.
  • Monitor and reduce finished goods losses.
  • Manage power saving and chemical consumption.
  • Oversee team overtime based on factory utilization.

Delivery:

  • Implement and adjust weekly production plans.
  • Manage daily direction setting and line performance.
  • Address production problems and plan to reduce their impact.
  • Improve Operation Efficiency (OE) and Utilization Efficiency (OU).
  • Reduce machine stoppage due to process issues.
  • Deliver WM quantity to filling machines and reduce leaks.
  • Develop manufacturing practices and operational methods.
  • Implement new innovations and project plans.

Mobilization:

  • Lead 5S Implementation and daily FDS sessions.
  • Foster Kaizen initiatives and Autonomous Maintenance.
  • Prepare and follow up on yearly training plans.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and develop individual plans.
  • Provide a pipeline of potential operators for succession planning.

Nature:

  • Monitor and optimize water and energy consumption.
  • Reduce COD in wastewater by minimizing milk losses.
  • Ensure cleanliness and compliance with GMPs.
  • Maintain dry floors through machine drain improvements.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Scince or Agriculture.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (From 2-4 years of experience).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management & Leadership skills.
