About the job

This position is responsible for driving successful execution of key procurement operations for Danone North America.  This position will support the processes, tools, and data required to

maintain the source to pay process. This role will focus on supporting suppliers, buyers, planners, and key plant operations members to ensure the flow of local procurement operations by maintaining accurate supplier data across multiple systems. They will also contribute to tool deployments and continuous improvement processes. We are looking to hire a Procurement Operations Coordinator based in Louisville, CO.

 

Responsibilities:
In this role, responsibilities may include:
• Hold expertise in the tools and processes related to local procurement operations
• Coordinate closely with Category Managers to maintain accurate pricing and payment terms within various systems, communicating with Category teams and suppliers
• Support the business with pricing and data analysis and reporting, including KPIs

• Coordinate and support new material, new technical contract creation and new vendor setups

• Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities and projects

• Lead projects for process automation, tool implementation, post-mortem analysis, and change management.

• Escalate issues in process, tools and data and manage resolutions

• Manage invoice resolution process with appropriate groups

• Assist project teams with Technical Contract creation and provide hyper care to new Suppliers

• Lead ad hoc discussions with internal & external stakeholders to minimize business risk

The salary range for this position is $60,000-86,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. About you

Education and Experience (Requirements):
Bachelor’s Degree
or relevant experience
2 to 4 years supply chain, procurement, and/or information/systems experience

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain & procurement operations processes
• SAP experience
• Strong communication & organization skills
• Excellent project and time management skills

• Success in problem solving and critical thinking, particularly when dealing with ambiguity
• Achieves timely results with effective prioritization
• Skilled in engaging internal & external stakeholders

• Demonstrates an operational mindset

• Ease in data manipulation and reporting, i.e. PowerBI and other analytics tools

• Customer-centric and solutions-oriented

• Open minded and agile in problem solving

• Collaborative in spirit and people-focused
