Reporting to the Director Channels Planning & Commercial Finance (CPCF), the Sr. Manager/Manager of Away From Home (AFH) CPCF leads a team of 3, accountable for end to end sales planning, reporting, decision support and supporting robust planning and trade management capabilities for the AFH sales organization. The AFH business represents the Foodservice, Convenience, Drug, Export and Military channels and represents $600M in topline. A key leadership role within the AFH CPCF team, the incumbent will be responsible for providing sound, progressive and engaging stewardship while contributing to the success of the overall AFH teams. This role will be a strategic partner to the AFH Director CPCF and Sales leaders, helping to guide sound business decisions to meet and exceed the overall financial and strategic objectives of the AFH team, and to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.


The base compensation range for this position is $100k-$140k (commensurate with experience). In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Leading a team of Associate Managers/Analysts providing key insights, coaching & mentoring for direct reports to optimize performance and develop talent for the future
• Operating as a team leader supporting the Finance Director & Sales Director in driving top-line growth profitably on our Yogurt, Plant Based and Premium Dairy Business Units
• Providing professional advice and objective financial analysis which enable decision makers to make timely and informed business decisions, ensuring that opportunities and risks are fully considered and that decisions are aligned with the overall financial strategies
• Co-leading the development of customer level plans by segment with Sales
• Partnering with Marketing, Go-to-Market (Trade) and Demand Planning teams on delivering key Brand/BU objectives and an accurate forecast
• Reviewing results of team's financial modeling to influence strategies on RFPs or new business opportunities
• Influencing the customer teams to build customer specific plans with the guidance provided by Trade Marketing and Brands while acknowledging customer specific needs (i.e. customer specific trade/shopper events; new product launch/RFP reset windows, etc.)
• Coordinating refinements to the customer plans as iterations occur to resolve gaps to Brand targets
• Leveraging ROI analytics to influence optimized business performance. Support Divisional initiatives with validated and relevant P&L's.
• Co-leading the development of the long-term vision (3 to 5 years) for the customer
• Influencing process and business partners to identify trade spending efficiencies
• Partnering with Revenue Growth Management team to co-develop pricing and revenue growth opportunities across the product portfolio.

About you

• You have managerial & leadership competencies
• You have 5-7+ years of relevant experience
• You have a Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus
• You have previous CPG management experience (preferred)
• You have strong analytical skills
• You have experience managing a P&L
• You have enthusiasm for Building Cross Functional Teams and ways of working
• You have strong Excel & PowerPoint skills, and experience with forecasting tools
• You have ROI and Financial analysis experience
