About the job

The role of the Validation Engineer is to provide assistance to the Validation Manager in the scheduling, execution and documentation of validation activities for new and existing manufacturing equipment and manufacturing processes in accordance with cGMP and Nutricia regulatory requirements.  Also provision of technical support services to the production and quality departments.

 

It is key for the Validation Engineer to understand and develop a good understanding of other departments to ensure the appropriate support is provided and information is owned and shared in the relevant way.

 

Success in this role will be demonstrated by supporting the successful implementation of a site validation masterplan, in particular the ongoing collation, assessment and periodic reporting of operational monitoring data to verify that the site is performing consistently, in line with the highest quality standards. This role will also be expected to support with the identification of trends in data, which could help to predict changes in performance and enable control measures to be implemented to prevent any food safety issues.

Professional Experience:

 

  • Graduate in a scientific or engineering discipline, ideally with three years of experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Working in a team.
  • Managing multiple priorities.
  • Formal scientific academic qualifications / industry experience.
  • Awareness of FDA, FSCC2200 and ISO Accreditations.
  • Understanding of Auditing.
  • Awareness of HACCP.
  • Experience of Food Hygiene standards.
  • Experience of quality systems advantageous.
  • Working in a Quality environment advantageous.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environment advantageous.
  • Capable of working on multiple priorities and meeting timelines.
