About the job

The Senior/Manager, Omni Customer Enablement & Syndication will report into the Director, Digital Shelf and be responsible for helping to build best in class syndication & content processes for our brands at various online retailers. This includes owning data governance, content readiness, content compliance, and customer execution across innovation and renovation products, as well as executing timely syndication of digital shelf content to key customer websites. This role requires strong working experience in Salsify, Syndigo, and 1WS. Given the complexity of the role, we anticipate needing agility to successfully deliver on various projects within the Digital Shelf team. This role has Strategic, Technical, and Tactical components and the expectation will be that this team leader can flex between these business needs, managing both high level conversations and low level details with concision and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities:

Content and GDSN Syndication & Compliance

  • Prioritize and execute timely new item set up and syndication of GDSN product information and digital shelf content to key customers
  • Leverage strong expertise in Salsify workflows and Syndigo to enable seamless digital shelf content publishing and auditing
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency in both GDSN and content syndication workflows
  • Partner closely with managed services partner to ensure flawless execution of customer syndication
  • Act as the central point of contact for the Sales team and eCommerce Managers to review GDSN submissions and digital shelf optimizations, supporting the team with prioritization as needed
  • Conduct regular customer audits and track compliance to ensure completeness of customer GDSN submissions and product pages, including root cause analysis for data or content quality issues working with the technical and business teams to identify, resolve, and implement solutions to prevent future data governance gaps
  • Use project management tools to track ongoing syndication progress

Syndication Strategy & Org Management

  • Define best practices for managing digital assets in Salsify for increasing usability
  • Lead the data gap audit process to ensure data integrity and of master data.
  • Conduct regular content gap analyses, customer requirement reviews, and SKU prioritization to inform content production priorities
  • Hold teams accountable to product life cycle deadlines across stakeholders and ensure on-time syndication delivery of assets to meet launch timelines
  • Lead integration between DAM system and Salsify, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the secure and efficient transfer of our digital assets

General Digital Shelf Team + Thought Leadership

  • Content Accessibility: Train team members on how to effectively use Salsify catalog, access assets
  • Host trainings to ensure team workflows have visibility and drive closer integration with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
  • Take on any other relevant duties as assigned, showcasing adaptability and readiness to support the Digital Shelf team’s evolving needs

Scope:

  • Customer Readiness, Content Execution & Compliance
    • Lead Data Governance SteerCo to ensure we fulfill all customer requirements, data gaps, attribute needs to successfully syndicate
    • Main point of contact for sales to ensure we have the correct customer attribution and retailer requirements
    • Be a liaison between Syndication agency and internal teams to fulfill Data Synchronization gaps
    • Serve as key liaison between digital shelf content production and customer teams to ensure compliance across top customers – this includes product images, marketing tiles, written content, and enhanced content
    • Support the Digital Shelf Content team in developing and executing industry-leading content strategies by defining asset naming and overseeing system architecture to automate content delivery

 

  • Omnichannel Syndication
    • Technical expert leading team with hands on keyboard for both GDSN + Digital Shelf (Salsify, Syndigo, 1WS, and other customer platforms/portals)
    • Central point of contact for Syndication, including but not limited to supporting workstreams on Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Management
    • Partnering with Syndication agency on strategic syndication priorities for both GDSN and Digital Shelf
    • Support the Digital Shelf Content team in ensuring timely syndication of assets to key customer websites, on time, in accordance with product life cycle needs

 

  • Customer Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Own Syndication Strategy and Customer Syndication Matrix with the goal of prioritizing and optimizing GTM strategy and ways of working
    • Own the relationship with the eCommerce Sales Managers + other Sales partners to ensure we are building connections, partnerships, and advocacy with our customers and sales counterparts
    • Maintain Syndication Process Mapping and lead optimizations for streamlined ways of working

 

  • Tech-Stack Integration
    • Ensure seamless and consistent GDSN and content publishing via Salsify, Syndigo, and 1WS, including standardization of asset management and product hierarchy architecture
    • Provide technical and strategic expertise for integration recommendations, including defining WoW and connections between systems: GDSN, DAM and PIM platforms to automate and drive efficiencies
    • Partner with the Global team and consult on data architecture opportunities across both GDSN and Digital Shelf

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in digital shelf content management and syndication
  • Proven hands on keyboard experience in Salsify, Syndigo and 1WS
  • Proficiency with DAM/PIM platforms
  • Agency content production experience a plus
  • Background in eCommerce merchandising, digital marketing, master data or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with Profitero, Asana, and consumer insights a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience.
