Senior Regional Sales Manager (ISRAEL & CYPRUS)

 

 

Preferred location of the position is in Israel and requires frequent travel (min 1 week in every 2 months) to our Rijswijk office in Netherlands. Depending on the candidate preference, the position can be located in the Netherlands (Rijswijk office) with frequent travel (1 week per 2 months) to Israel.

In Nutricia Worldwide with our demand generator model we aim to encourage sustainable growth of our business for our Early Life Nutrition products (Aptamil, Bebelac, Cow & Gate) in 48 countries within 11 different time zones in the following regions: the Balkans, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Asia and the CIS.  We are a business partnering with importers and distributors who represent our brands locally. 

 

Senior Regional Sales Manager will be co-responsible for executing Nutricia strategy in the respected region and will lead execution in markets under his responsibility (Israel, Cyprus) with support and guidance from Head of Sales. About the job

 

In this challenging position you will be reporting to the Head of Sales, and will be working together with other functions: marketing, medical strategy, medical sales, finance, legal, regulatory, project management and supply chain to make sure that the cluster region gets the most successful approach. This role has a strong focus on making sure that the distributors are supported and managed in the right way. Our teams are very diverse, so we expect you to have the ability to connect and build strong relationships with different cultures inside and outside of the organization. As part of the Sales Team, you will be joining a high performing team that has reached stretch targets the last years. You are expected to have an ambitious mentality, a can-do attitude that can solve any obstacle and that will come up with ideas to generate value to the organization and to further improve our ways of working. For this job you will be required to travel to the countries under your scope. About the Job

 

Execute & Deploy Commercial Strategy

  • Translate the agreed commercial strategy into concrete mid/short-term plans for the region.
  • Accelerate the current business by unlocking market potential and ensuring superior, sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Lead channel development (Pharma, Retail, Drugstore, E-commerce, Specialized stores) in line with Danone, Nutricia approach

 

Cross Functional Engagement

  • Leading Country Acceleration Team consisting of cross functional team members
  • Develop the business of the region via perfect cross functional work.

 

Regional Distributor Engagement and Partnership

  • Implement consistent sales strategies through the distributors that is in line with the overall strategies of the Nutricia Worldwide and the general guidelines of Specialized Nutrition
  • Responsible of 3 distributors in 2 countries. Knowledge and experience on Distribution Management and RTM is Key


Country Knowledge/ Performance Metrics

  • Provide relevant findings to fuel strategic decisions by collecting, analyzing, and presenting relevant country data.
  • Keep track of competition and market trends in the territory to adapt sales strategies and provide/report information to management and back office

About you

There are  some compulsory technical requirements that you have to meet:

  • University degree in Sales / Marketing or Business Management
  • 5-10 years’ experience, working in a commercial role within FMCG/medical/health/pharma industries;
  • Proven track record of taking on entrepreneurial challenges; delivering commercial targets, building short-, medium- and long-term growth strategies for countries/ categories;
  • You have a solid understanding of theoretical and practical application of account management, category, channel strategy (pharma channel is a plus);
  • You have experience in working with distributors; you have good understanding of Export business;
  • You’re fluent in English and Hebrew. Another language is a plus.
  • Preferably based in Israel
