Role Purpose:

  • Drive the Nutricia Danone Paediatric Business by winning and retaining hospital nutritional contract business and driving community preference for our paediatric product range. 
  • Consolidating our position as market leader in Hospital & Community in a number of specific areas, including Standard Infant Feeds and Allergy.
  • Build relationships with a wide range of health care professionals in hospital and community setting, including Dietitians, Consultant Paediatricians, Specialist Nurses, GP's & Midwives.
  • Build relationships with other key influencers in hospital including pharmacy, stores, and department managers

This role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This field-based role is based within Dublin/ Leinster counties and so you will need to be based in this location. 

Salary range: EUR 55 - 60,000 p/a, company car provided.


Key Activities:

  • To provide nutritional and technical support on the Nutricia Allergy Product Range & Faltering Growth Range to health care professionals in Hospitals and the community, and Hospital stores/pharmacies responsible for nutritional products
  • Regular and at least monthly review of hospital sales figures to target activities.
  • Liaise with Nutricia Danone Marketing and Medical teams in the development of successful campaigns by providing insight into customer needs and concerns and feed back relevant information to head office to help maintain competitive edge
  • Exhibit Nutricia Danone paediatric product ranges at relevant HCP meetings
  • Identify new customers/opportunities to grow the business and gather relevant information to help secure successful hospital contracts.
  • Actively ensure continued educational development by attending relevant study days, reviewing medical literature and latest best clinical practice in conjunction with the Nutricia Danone Medical Department.
  • Liaise with Distributors and wholesalers to ensure maximum product availability
  • Maintain record of sales activity on CRM platform.
  • Complete annual territory business plan and update regularly

About you

We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:

  • Ideally, a Degree in Human Nutrition/Dietetics or Nursing Degree, or experience working as a health care professional
  • Experience in a sales role is preferred but is not essential
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate success in developing relationships with health care professionals
