About the job

Our Procurement team finds strategic approaches to procuring key resources for Danone like milk, ingredients, and packaging. As a part of this team, you will work with colleagues to support the organization, efficiency, and decision making for our local procurement team.  We are looking for a Procurement Manager (Commodities) to join our team based in Broomfield CO or White Planes NY!  In this role, you will be responsible for performing operational, tactical & analytical work that sustainably contributes to creating an agile and decisive purchasing team.

 

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:

  • Hold expertise in tools and processes which contribute to local procurement operations. Leverage these tools and expertise to improve simple processes and ways of working.
  • Support and maintain document retention files. (Contract approvals, Forecasts ext)
  • Maintain commercial term records & support accurate reflection of said terms in SAP.
  • Guide new material suppliers through the proper vendor on-boarding steps at Danone.
  • Create pricing submissions (Price its, Orasoft, etc) and Indirect POs for procurement related activity and manage their lifecycle.
  • Support pricing updates and resolution of price blocks, coordinating with Front Office.
  • Manage pricing, data and supplier lists and provide related analysis or information to buyers or stakeholders.
  • Maintain supplier inventory records to enhance supply chain visibility.
  • Support buyers with timely reaction on contract balancing and lifecycle needs, data requests.
  • Manage and Maintain USDA rexport program data.
  • Lead ad hoc discussions with internal & external stakeholders to minimize business risk.
  • Track and report on key KPIs and Procurement initiatives.  Assist with updating supplier scorecards and performance monitoring.
  • Participate in some renovation and BCP project team meetings; ensure seamless communication of requirements, timings, risks, and other relevant project information to both project and C&P teams, and actioning key follow ups.

The base compensation range for this position is $81,000-116,000, commensurate with experience. About you

Education and Experience (Requirements):


Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years supply chain or procurement experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-    Demonstrated understanding of supply chain & procurement operations processes
-    SAP/APO knowledge a plus.
-    Strong communication, analytical & organization skills.

-    Strong power point and excel skills; Power BI a plus. 

-    Success in problem solving and critical thinking.
-    Achieves timely results with effective prioritization.
-    Thrives in a team environment
-    Anticipates and is proactive.
