About the job

The Accounting Manager within the Shared Service Center is responsible for driving operational excellence and financial integrity across regional entities. The Accounting Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence and financial integrity across regional entities. This role leads the development and implementation of standardized accounting procedures, oversees the month-end close and audit processes, and ensures compliance with internal controls. The manager fosters collaboration between Danone Noram, Danone Mexico, and the Consolidation team, while continuously improving systems and processes.

 

About you

  • Bachelors/Masters in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Fluent in English 
  • Experience in shared service center (preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of general and/or public accounting experience.
  • Minimum 4 plus years of supervisory experience.
  • CPG/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • SAP knowledge and experience preferred. (Knowledge of Magnitude is a plus.)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Continuous improvement and process-oriented mind-set.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently.
  • Self-starter, dependable, and possessing the ability to respond quickly and accurately on multiple priorities.
  • Ability to identify issues/control weaknesses and develop and implement recommendations for resolution.
  • Ability to work cross functionally to solve problems.
