Demand Planner

About the job

As a Demand Planner at Danone North America, you will own the demand signal for a complex, fast-moving product portfolio.  You will serve as the strategic integrator between commercial, supply chain, and analytics teams – driving forecast accuracy, shaping demand insights, and ensuring our planning systems reflect the realities of the market.  This role is designed for an experienced planner who thrives in advanced ERP environments and can translate data into decisive action.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Demand Planning for a high-volume Business Unit portfolio, ensuring high-quality forecasts that guide production, inventory, and service decisions

  • Own the trend and executional planning process across the Business Unit, synthesizing consumption, fill rate, customer inventory, and shipment dynamics

  • Leverage advanced analytics and machine-learning models within ERP systems to generate and refine short-term forecasts (12 week scope) in partnership with Forecast Analysts

  • Serve as the primary liaison to Supply Planning, ensuring alignment on constraints, risks, and opportunities

  • Present and animate core KPIS – forecast accuracy, bias, waste, and service – across senior stakeholders

  • Partner and lead alignment conversations with Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to develop long-term consensus forecast

  • Collaborate closely with Category and Commercial teams to manage allocations, prioritization, promotional impacts, and innovation launches

  • Build and present the long-term forecast to cross-functionals – leveraging relevant consumption data, seasonality, and consumer behavior to drive a precise baseline

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 – $117,000.00 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. To give our employees flexibility, Danone is a hybrid work environment.
