Role Purpose:

We have a number of new and exciting National Account Manager (NAM) opportunities coming up in multiple channels and categories, everything from Grocery, to Online to Impulse. As a NAM you have the unique opportunity to help our consumers continue to make healthier choices! You’ll develop and nurture key contacts across the customer base as well as engaging internal cross-functional teams to help deliver the channel strategy.


Main job accountabilities, activities and projects:

 

  • Delivery of profitable growth for both Danone and customer through yearly Joint Business Plans
  • Ensuring flawless execution of plans and agreed activations throughout the yearand regular site visits to know what is happening on the ground and identify opportunities
  • Managing the promotional and pricing plans
  • Support the building and execution of our channel-specific plans
  • Identifying new business opportunities in line with channel strategy
  • Delivery of internal and external P&L targets  
  • Working closely with supply chain and CRM team to foresee any challenges and ensure clear consistent communication and ensure accurate forecasting

We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills:  

  • Work autonomously to find solutions to challenges
  • Build internal and external network through engaging with others using clear communication
  • Deliver a demand led Joint Business Plan (JBP)
  • Ability to use questioning and listening to understand true customer needs
  • The ability to understand how a business makes money and how to create value for customers
  • Examples of strong P&L management
  • Able to demonstrate experience of well-prepared negotiations including ‘must gets’ ‘wish list’ and ‘concessions’.

Salary Bracket: £48k - £60k + car allowance
