The Controlling department of R&I (Research and Innovation) is on the lookout for its next Controller for the Danone Global Research & Innovation Center in Gif-Sur-Yvette (Paris-Saclay). Our finance team, rich in diversity and international experience, consists of 9 dynamic members ready to welcome a new colleague.

In this position, you will report to Pongsatorn Vilaiphan, our R&I Finance Director

Your main responsibilities will focus on:

FP&A is defined as a set of planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical activities that support a company's major business decisions and overall financial health. The role involves:

• Planning: Communicating and instructing on the Closing, Rolling Forecast, Stratplan and AOP activities and deadlines to the controllers of each domain
• Forecasting: Managing total R&I investment within all the zones and the domains of the central controllers. Managing the total Risks and Opportunities during each Rolling Forecast cycle as well as landing.
• Reporting: Monthly Magnitude actuals reporting, Rolling Forecast reporting, FTE reporting, and variance explanation as well as prepare monthly dashboards for management

This role offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your skills in Controlling while integrating into an international environment.

Your main missions are:

• Lead the Rolling Forecast process in alignment with the R&I Finance Director by building the annual calendar, setting up requirements, establishing guidelines, and communicating requests in a timely manner.
• Lead the Strategic Plan (Stratplan) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes in alignment with the R&I Finance Director.
• Act as main point of contact to central overhead team and central FP&A team
• Manage risks and opportunities.
• Drive the global R&I CAPEX agenda.
• Act as a business partner for SVP regions and categories.
• Act as a business partner for global UX domain
• Analyze actual spends and FTEs and perform year-to-date (YTD) and year-to-go (YTG) analysis.
• Support monthly closing in coordination with the DBS team.
• Prepare templates and consolidate data from central R&I teams in France and the Netherlands.
• Consolidate global R&I spend and set up performance reviews with central R&I finance teams and regions.
• Prepare monthly consolidated dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Assist the IRO team in tracking the company's must-win projects.
• Support the research tax credit (CIR) process in France.
• Back up local FP&A activities during Closing and Rolling forecast for the scope in Netherlands and France (CAPEX, FCF, RF management & coordination of P&L/BS/NDV/OVH/CAPEX/Interco/Tax/OIE/Fin Result, etc. up to full submission)
