Danone has processes, but the culture also allows you to create your own. I am always working on continuous improvement plans with suppliers, focusing on new and better ways of working. By taking a lead on practice-sharing between suppliers and Danone North America, I help to identify strengths and opportunities, and how we can work best together.
Early in my career, I had the chance to present an idea to the CEO of Danone Mexico. It didn’t matter my level or time with the company, what mattered was the project and how I sold the idea.
Later, I met the Global CEO and Chairman at a convention in Barcelona, Spain. He was so approachable and down to earth in sharing his experiences. It really gave me an idea of how he leads the business and made me feel a part of the Danone family.
I’m so proud to work for a company that impacts peoples' lives. By working here, I get a chance to engage with Danone’s healthy products.
Danone North America is the world’s largest certified B Corp™. With that, we have higher levels of social and environmental standards that lead to better performance and transparency with our community. Personally, I get to contribute by being a member of our B Corp ambassadors program which shows me that individually and collectively, we can all make a difference.
While I started as an intern, I quickly got a ‘vote of confidence’ from my team, which encouraged me to apply for a full-time position. Danone gives me all the tools and support I need to grow and demonstrate my ability.
As part of our mentorship program, I’m a mentor and a mentee, which gives me an opportunity to contribute to, as well as benefit from, the program. At Danone, I’m on a journey of continuous learning and continuous improvement.
