About the job

As an HR Trainee you will be exposed to lots of topics which will give you the opportunity to learn, build up your capabilities and experience an international, dynamic environment. You will work close to your line manager, the local HR Business Partner, who will guide you in your journey.

 

YOUR responsibilities as an HR Trainee:

 

Have (basic) HR Knowledge

  •   What HR is and what an HRBP/HR Generalist does
  •   Basics of recruitment & selection
  •   Basic understanding of employee lifecycle (hire → onboard → develop → exit)
  •   Basic corporate etiquette

 

Typical Responsibilities (for reference):

  • First point of contact for external workforce (employees and agencies)
  • Building trusting relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders (workforce agencies, office supplies, team leaders etc.
  • Verifying and preparing monthly reports related to external workforce as well as other HR reports
  • Supporting HRBP on: employee administrative lifecycle tasks & processes, recruitment processes, collecting data for internal announcements, job descriptions etc.
  • Working closely with HR team on different projects and initiatives (engagement, wellbeing, employer branding etc)
  • SPOC for HR contracts registration, being responsible for full cycle of POs management (purchase orders) and other administrative tasks;
  • Administrating HR documents & updating HR databases
  • Supporting onboarding processes
  • Helping organize training sessions
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by line manager

About you

We are looking for a HR Trainee with the following profile:

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Human Resources/ Psychology/ Sociology/ Business Administration/ Economics/ Communication.
  • Fluent English B2–C1
  • No prior HR experience required, but considered a plus: Involvement in student organizations / Volunteering / Part-time administrative or people-facing roles / Erasmus or other international experience
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
  • Eagerness to learn within HR
  • Reliable, well-organized, and capable of managing time effectively
  • Team-oriented with good collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and curious about HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Charisma, SAP OneBuy)
